Hey all,

I've had my pacman for roughly 6 months, and I love the little guy. Just 2 days ago, he stopped activity and began to burrow in his little cave. His eyes have retracted, and his skin has gone a little darker than normal. Looks like he's sort of bundled himself up in his own skin, so to speak. He's alive, as I can see him breathing, and his temp/humidity are perfect, so I can't figure out if he's ill or not. We have no herp specialist here, so I'm at a loss.

Everything I've been able to find makes it seem like estivation, but I'd like a second opinion, or a 3rd, 4th and on, LOL. anyone able to help me w/my little Dennis, I'd really appreciate it.

Also, he's taken to eating nothing but crickets. I gut-load them and coat every second feeding w/repti-cal, so he obviously gets what he needs, but he refuses to take ANY other kind of food, mealies, wax worms, super worms, feeder fish, pinkies, anything. I'm at a loss as to what else to try. I've even tried tempting him w/a small piece of raw chicken dipped in repti-cal, but again, nothing at all.
