I've had my 1.1 breeding pair for 5 days now and neither will eat. I've tried mollies, swordtails, rosy reds, crickets, and night crawlers.. The female tried taking a nightcrawler once and then spit it out. What is going on? My water temp is 74-75 degrees fahrenheit. No lighting on them yet(still trying to find out an opinion on what to use.) They're in a 20L with overkill filtration with calm areas, water level is about 10 inches. I used dechlorinated tap(reptisafe) and a product called cycle to speed up the biological filter on my filtration sytem. The tank is bare for the most part, but I am looking into the finest grade pool filter sand. Is dropping a nightcrawler in front of their face and between their arms not the right way to feed them? Thanks in advance.
