I had to go back on my records to help me on this question, as I breed my snakes on how they look to me at breeding time. I have a Honduran that loses alot of weight after dropping her eggs and I wouldn't breed her again until she looks full bodied again. This Charina I'm talking about was w/c and had dropped three neonates soon after capture. I received her at 49 grams, in late December. I beefed her up to 125 grams by the time of burmation the following fall. Out of burmation at 123 grams, and I kept her w/ a male at all times. The male is very small,50 grams, but gets it done. I'll run things the same way this year, but my males will see more females then just one this year.
Sorry this is so long, but hope it helps. -Dell
