A friend gave me this rat snake. It came in as an oddball in a shipment of red-tail rats from China or something; at least, that's what the person he got it from told him.

If anyone can identify the snake for me, please let me know. I don't think it's a Gonyosoma frenatum, G. oxycephalum, or G. prasina, but I could be wrong. This is my first experience with an Asian rat snake, and it really doesn't match up with any pictures I'm finding.

If the pics aren't sufficient for ID purposes, please tell me what body parts you want better views of, and I'll get them photographed for you.





Sorry about the color issues, I was using different lighting than I normally do, and I won't be making THAT mistake again. :/
