Just acquired a Mountain Horned Lizard, although after poking around the forum a bit I think I'm in a Horned Lizard minority, since everyone else seems to have Desert Horned Lizards.

Anyway, I just got the lil guy today and I'm not sure of the subspecies. I'm pretty sure he's an A. Lepidogaster, but then, "he" could actually be a "she" of something else.

Here's some pictures of him, taken right before I put him in his cage to get settled in.

His throat:

Body("he" actually doesn't have any noticeable hemipene bulges, and in fact the only thing making me think "he"'s a he is his large and colorful throat flap):

He's a WC import, and I've been looking at him and researching for the past three weeks and finally today I decided to get him.

Any tips on anything specific for Mountain Horned Lizards and any suggestions on his Ssp or gender would be greatly appreciated!
