The two most important things that I have learned were that gilas need more humidity than you would expect from a desert dwelling animal and they also like to stay cooler than you would suspect. Best of luck with your new animals. Post some pictures of them when you get them all set up.

Oh, and babies are anything but "puppy dog tame"!
