Well its been three weeks or so since the babies arrived and they are doing great. I find there behavior facinating, seem a lot more intelligent than the average herp. All four of mine have different (personalities) so to speak or I guess gilanalities. I think its funny how much creatures of habit they are. Every morning at dawn they emerge from there warm dens (paper towel roll), get a good drink of water then spend an hour or two in there humid hides...they repeat this process every evening usually too. There appetites are amazing, eating rat pinks like mad and digest them fast.
I also noticed they seem to like it much cooler than I expected 90% of the time I temp gun them they're between 78-82 even though there cage setups allow them to be anywhere from 70-about 95. Totally addicted, deposits in for next years babies and the cupboards are bare but I haven't been this into a species since I was a 5 year old with my first iguana! Wish more folks were sharing first hand info on them on this net though. Information I've found is very general at best and scarce at that.
