Today I noticed that my 5-year-old female ACF has an unusually large belly. I did a brief google search and found something that said this can be metabolic, i.e., bacteria begin to break down food inappropriately in the gut causing gas build up, and that the fix is to raise water temp to increase frog metabolism. Has anyone else heard this?

I don't believe she's swallowed stones; I keep the substrate mostly sand, with a few larger stones to avoid such a situation. Her diet is mostly feeder fish, supplemented with beef heart and frog brittle between big feedings.

She does not otherwise appear unhealthy, and her activity level seems normal.

Any ideas? I'll try to get a picture if that will help.

Thanks for suggestions.
