i know that there are certain types of wood shavings that are not safe for most animals...like pine and cedar...

but i am going to start building my tegu's cage next week, and i was wondering if sassafras is okay to use?...if not, what kinds of wood do you reccomend?

my plan is to use wood for 3 of the sides and the bottom...then i will use a heavy duty wire mesh for the top for airation as well as easier access to heat lamp...and finally, plexi glass sliding doors for the front...

are there any reccomendations?
thanks so much!

jessica
