From now on you could put a piece of screen or one of those plastic dividers used to seperate breeding fish from offspring in the tank to feed the turtles seperately. My musk lives with a huge slider and just by instinct knows to get the heck out of the way when the giant is moving. I feed the slider in one corner and the musk in the other. Hope this helps.
