You could try putting him in a small container with a bunch of crickets or worms for a few minutes. Maybe once they start crawling on him, he'll get annoyed enough to snap at them and eat them. I do this with my fbn and he eats.

Eventually, maybe he'll get used to your hand. A couple of mine actually jump into my hand whenever I do something in their habitat.
