Posted by: DemonFrog at Fri Mar 9 12:03:35 2007 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by DemonFrog ] I've heard that some subspecies will eat worms and some won't, i know the northern variets (ontario here) that i caught ate worms and slugs, the worms actually made up most of the diet for the ones i kept, then i stupidly let them go, i hope to find a few this spring, but seeing as i only caught one last year my hopes aren't very high. The shallow easy to access water dish is a big must, i used a honey jar lid that i'd have to refill every 3 days because it was so small. the moist hide is also a good idea.
