Here's another one you might not know yet. I think this is EXTREMELY EASY on boas (BCI/common boas), but some people can't seem to do it. Anyway, here it is. Take your index finger and place it directly on the snakes vent/cloaca/pooshoot-lol and put your thumb directy inline with your index finger, but on top of the snake. Slowly slide your "pinched" finger/thumb toward the tip of the tail. In males, after a little way you'll feel a little "bump bump"(feels like B.B.'s). Females will start thick and almost immediately you'll feel your fingers drop off and never feel the "B.B." affect. It can be done with Dumerils as well, but it's not as distinct. Take care
