i got an argentine tegu baby (black & white) in november....shes been hibernating since i got her, and i noticed she woke up, so i got her out to let her walk around a bit (im keeping her in a 10 gallon while she is hibernating & while her other cage is being built...)...i put a lamp up and sprayed her with a little water to hydrate her a little...gave her a small bowl of food (sweet potatoe, carrots, etc) to see if she was interested in eating at all...

i noticed her scratching her face (like a dog would)...and now she will NOT open her right eye...thats the side she was scartching...is it possible that she may have torn her outer eye-lid?...will she be okay? should i take her to a vet?

thanks
jessica
