Posted by: tegu24 at Wed Mar 14 21:26:40 2007 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by tegu24 ] scotch or irish moss are generally sold to plant along pathways, sometimes thay are referred to as stepables. i have used scotch moss in salamander tanks, where they come into direct contact with it and have had no problem. to my knowledge the plant does not excrete any toxins or residues that would be harmful to your amphibs.
