I'm not recommending this, but I have this roommate situation going on right now. I have two Desert Tort babies who were in for the winter. I have an Eastern Hognose snake who doesn't eat mice, who I was trying to get to switch by scenting with toads. (Without harming the toads, since I love toads.) I couldn't get her to switch, but want to try again in the spring, but was afraid I couldn't find another toad, so I wanted to keep him. So I put him in with the DTs. They run on opposite schedules- while the torts are sleeping at night, Mr. Toad is out doing toad stuff. During the day, while they are out, he generally stays on top of their cool hide. Once in a while I've found him basking under the 95F lamp, though! Here he is with Koko. This actually made me a little nervous, but they've been together since November with no hostilities...
