I've even had the pleasure at this horrible pet store in my town to see what happens when the owner puts a pair of red foots in with his HUGE male sulcata (smash). But here is my question... I have a little almost 2 year old Hermann's tortoise who ended up being male. This summer I'm getting a new place and am going to set a nice pen for him outside. I wouldn't mind getting another Hermann's. I already know I should probably get one about the same size as my guy. Problem is females aren't the easiest to come by. I don't want to breed him anyway, or at least not at this time, since I have enough breeding reptiles and this tortoise really is more my spoiled "baby".
