Posted by: quickfast at Tue Mar 20 00:28:49 2007 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by quickfast ] I recently purchased a trio of WC adult red eyed tree frogs. I received them Wednesday and left for a trip Saturday morning. When I returned Monday night I found them dead on the bottom of their cage. I'm just wondering what might have happened to them. They were fine Saturday morning when I left (I left early morning and the lights were still off so they were up). Their cage setup is as follows: 29g aquarium with false bottom and continually running water which keeps a water bowl full. Water is tap water that has sit out for a couple days. Decorations are bamboo and fake plants from walmart. Substrate is repticarpet. Lights are on 14 hrs a day. Temp is 85 during the day and 75 at night. Any ideas for what could have happened are appreciated b/c I would like to keep red eyed tree frogs and do not want this to happen again. Thank you for any input.
