How old where they when you bought them? If they were still young, they need to be fed every day, but if they were adults, every two days is good.
Tap water, just left to sit, still has alot of things in it that can harm your frogs. Chloring and Chloramine may evaporate, but the heavy metals don't, and are still present in the water. A water conditioner, the ones that are good for fish, should help with that, but your best bet is to just go out and buy a five gallon jug. They aren't expensive, that's what I use for all my tanks and I haven't had any issues with it.
Repti carpet is fine for reptiles, but it doesn't hold the humidity well. I would switch to bed a beast or any coco bedding product. You need to keep this moist, but its great for humidity. (with your waterfally though, you may want to set up a filter of a sort because coco bedding will clog the waterfall)
Another suggestion is to use real plants, that will help keep your humidity up as well. As will spraying your tank in the morning and at night.
Another suggestion would be to get a hygrometer, to mesure the humidity in the tank. That is very important, because during the day when they sleep, they won't crawl over to the water bowl for refreshment.
Last but not least, when you're buying frogs, know that they wc ones are the least likely to survive captivity for long. Not saying it can't be done, but most supplier really don't give a hoot about the frogs welfare, all they care about is getting their money. This said, they won't care wether the frog is full of parasites or is stressed by the travel. Parasites may not kill the frog in the wild, but stress and other factors come into play and the balance is thrown off, which causes the frogs system to be less able to fight off the parasites. Try to buy captive bred when possible, there really isn't that big a difference in price and its better for you in the long run, because they are already used to being in captivity. ----- I think my frog owns a megaphone....
