They are fed earthworms and fruit flies and more unsuccessfully, pinheads. I'm trying to figure out what other kinds of food would be good for them and me. I'm mostly worried about getting a springtail infestation in either my lizard or my tarantula cages. Has anyone dealt with springtails? can i do things to prevent them from being pests as well as food? What other kinds of things will eastern red spotted newts eat?
