They really look good. As small as they are you may not see any secondary characteristics for a couple months.

Just a little news note on Acanthosaura; my new male I just got was set up a little different than normal. I put him in an aqua-terrarium, the type I use for Gonocephalus. Here's how the first ten days went; At night he climbed into the branches to sleep on a vertical perch, head up. He does this every night. Early after waking up he actually goes into the water (even though it is cooler) and thermoregulates. He is dark, almost black with very pronounced yellow flecks. After an hour or so he turns a more olive color (leaning more towards the green side), the yellow flecking still visible. In the early afternoon he moves through the underbrush searching for food. In the late afternoon he spends a little more time sunning. It is at this time that I have been able to hand feed him crickets already. In late afternoon he moves back towards his perch site for the approaching darkness. In the afternoon his "dewlap" is a nice light red color which looks neat.

This week I threw him a curve and threw some feeder fish in the water. Within three days they are all gone though I never saw him eat them the sly, little devil. I have seen him watch the fish from his overhead perch spot. This weekend I am going to introduce a female to the aqua-terrarium. Should be interesting.

Just wanted to add these notes to our ongoing info on Acanthosaura. This is the first time I've tried keeping Acanthosaura this way. So far it looks successful.
