There have been a bunch of hatchling turtles from the former Clemmys complex lately that exhibit aberrant pigmentation. Like yours, they rarely live long. A former keeper at Zoo Atlanta told me that he hatched white Spotteds and Bogs over the years, but none lived. The only aberrant "former Clemmys" that I've heard of surviving is a nearly all white NA Wood turtle possessed by Al Roach. He expects to breed it this year.

Tom, I don't blame you for keeping up with the effort. That would be a truly RARE turtle if you got one to live. It seems that, with your Spotted skills, you've got the best shot. Good luck.
