It is 100% pure Western Fox. The animal was collected in the City of West DesMoines, Iowa. What the gene is I don't know. At first Tom Weidner called them leucistic but he found that inappropriate. It is simple recessive. F-1 hets yielded the photographed animals. Sadly I cannot find anyone that still has them. I sold the photoed pair during a divorce, and have been unable to track down the buyer. I gave up about 2 years ago. Sold them to someone in Kansas in 2001....You know what else sucks MY PHOTOGRAPHY!! They were much much better in person.....Lee
