I have a ten gallon tank that I have kept 2 adult fire salamanders in for about two years. If you plan on putting any more than that, I would recommend bumping up the tank size 5 gallons for each addition salamander. I use bark bedding and spray it 3 times a day. A mister would be fine too. The thing to remember is that Fire Salamanders are amphibious and like to soak in a pool so a tank that is 60% land, 40% water would be perfect. make sure that you keep the tank moist and humid and you will have happy Fire Salamanders.
