Hey good news.
Maybe I've mentioned this before, but in any case - a friend of mine has kept a few glossies from time to time from up your way (high desert of So Cal), and he has had great success in getting them (all very young ones) on mice eventually. The one glossy he kept is a fantastic pet snake, and has grown much bigger than I imagined glossies can grow.
In captivity, his glossy will not show itself in the light of day.
He also had some really beautiful baby longnose from somewhere just outside Lancaster area. Those were far more a challenge to get onto mice, and he returned most of them for lack of any success. One switched over quickly. Too bad, because those things can be so attractive in my opinion. ----- Mark
