If you add fish be prepared for them to become a meal which you really don't want unless they are guppies. The dorsal fin on most fish can harm the insides of the toad. However, guppies and goldfish are okay. Now, goldfish aren't that great in that they produce a lot of ammonia and are fatty and not very nutritious for the toads.
