Well.. my water dragons are australian, but if I had to choose between my water dragons and my frilled.. It would be the frilled hands down. Both are very similar in personality and care. I think the frilled would be easier to handle, if that's what you are looking to do. The australian water dragons don't mind being handled a bit, but my frilled will sleep in my shirt until I make her get back into the enclosure. One thing that's nice about the aussie water dragons is that they are always captive bred and they can tolerate cooler temps.. they don't like it above 90 degrees and can drop down pretty cool. Both have nice qualities. I hope I've been some help to you.
