I like that my group can tolerate lower temps and less humid conditions. They are pretty nice as pets, I haven't been bitten. They are similar in temperment to frilled dragons with the exception that they don't really want to be handled for long. They are a joy to watch, and if they get spooked by something.. they drop straight into the water and totally submerge, until they feel it safe to come out. They eat mostly feeders, just like my frilled. If you look at the adult coloration of the male, you will find they are very unique in appearance. The most important thing for me was the fact that they are captive bred so you don't have to worry about their health as much. I bought my trio from Agama International, he wrote the book on AWD, literally. He has been super about emails and asking questions. If I had to choose which I like best of my frilled and awds it would be a hard choice, both are special, but fairly similar. I hope that makes sense.
