Hello:
The lizard in the picture is the Green Ameiva (Ameiva ameiva). They come from Northern South America and are often referred to as "Jungle Runners." There are over a hundred species spread out throughout Tropical America. At least two species have been introduced into the United States. Many, like the one in your photograph, have turned up in South Florida.
