I have a turtle that is either a mud or a musk turtle, my guess is mud. he has this thing on his bottom shell- at first I was thinking penile prolapse, but it is in the wrong place- it is just above the tail area, but not on the tail, its on the bottom of the shell. I havent examined it really well because I don't want to hurt him. it moves a little and pulses.I left him alone for a while in the water and came to check again and its still there.I have him alone because I don't want the others to hurt him.If no one has any ideas i will try to get a pic. thanks
