Seems to take all the variables out of the equation and makes it easier to manage. No doubt that the breeding season can be controled having all the animals exposed to the exact same temperature cycling, cool down and warm up. When mine were outdoors last year for a winter I became concerned when one of them awoke in the spring w/ what looked like scale rot.
