When they are that small I keep them in a small shoe box or any small, clear plastic container with just enough water to cover their shell. I usually feed them a mixed diet of chopped small minnows, reptomin and sometimes chopped worms or krill (frozen from your pet store) every other day and they will grow in no time. I have two musks now that are not quite 10 months old and are about 2.5 inches long. As soon as they start gowing a little you can put them in a small tank with some rocks, wood, etc.
