Posted by: AubreyHepburn at Mon May 7 19:49:05 2007 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by AubreyHepburn ] I've recently acquired an adult P. pipa, and he seems to be happy in his environment. I have him in a 20g long with lots of plant cover, and according to what I was told, a clump of peat moss in a sealed thin stocking to give him a blackwater habitat. Is this appropriate? He seems quite happy, but I would like to know the correct water parameters for keeping them happy and healthy. Also, what is the best way to achieve this? Any information will be greatly apreciated, I haven't been able to find much detailed information about keeping this species anywhere online.
