Palmate Newt, some questions ?

Hi my name is Michael and I was wondering if some of you folks could help me out ? I recently discovered a female Palmate newt at my place of work, she was covered in marble sludge and had only 3 legs so I took her home. I have since acquired and aquarium and have been feeding her on frozen bloodworm, daphnia and live redworm. Does anybody have any tips on diet nd accesories for the tank ? I have searched the net but found only vague info and I have also been looking for books.
