I'm holding in my hand something that resembles a water moccasin; but it has no front fangs like I heard and a scratch on its but. should I put Iodine on it or soak it in ebson salts for the cut; and what kind of lizzard is it with only 1 nose hole?

I'm just kidding about all of the above. I started reading this watersnake forum and was not clear just why people even mess with things if they have no idea what they are even picking up near the water and or waste pile or compost pile. Common people. There are very dangerous snakes out there and a lot of look a likes, and mimicers that are harmless; but if you have no IDEA WHAT IT IS "don't touch it" it is probibly better off repairing it self or dying in nature.

Thanks for reading. G
