I got him all taken care of parasite wise and he's growing nicely now. I was going to try to switch him to mice, but I found a feed store that sells day old chicks in large supply. That, and being as adult mice cost around 2 dollars where I live from the pet store and the day old chicks are 75 cents and are larger, I get more bang for my buck just keeping him on birds. The feces smells a bit more with birds, but I started using coconut mulch for the substrate and it pretty much absorbs all the smell.
