This isn't so much for frogs as it is for my new newts. Since the newts are wild caught (I know, I know) I wasn't really planning on using a filter (they were in a stagnant pool as is) and no stores near seem to have any water plants currently, so I was just going to do weekly water changes. Now, my question is, since tap water has chlorine and other amphibian baddies in it, would I be able to use tap water at all? I had read somewhere that if you let tap water sit out for 24-48 hours, the bad (good for humans) stuff in tap water dissipates and it's okay to use for amphibians (I got this off of dendroboard, and it was directed towards darts.)

Anyone have experience with this?
