I think females who are sexually mature can lay eggs although they are not fertile...can you tell if the other is a male? The male has a v type cut to the bottom of his shell by the tail and the females is straight...I have no idea if they could of bred...that would produce a hybrid, right? Time to Google turtle hybrids and see what pops up. Please post back if you learn anything, this is fascinating.
