I put about a 8-9" diameter by 12" length bucket in my aquarium and filled it with big rocks and soil. Surrounded with big climbing rocks, gravel and a log, it's tucked securely in the corner and stationary enough to be land. It's camouglaged with fake plants too, so as to make it look natural.

I'm thinking: This should make a good nesting sight for my res 'if she's going to lay egss' no? It's been perhaps a month plus since she's mated and I'm wondering if she's really fallen pregnant or not.

She's big enough but only going on two years. Thing is, I saw here 'tied' with my male res one day, so figured she's get pregnant and need to lay eggs.

There's no sign as of yet, however, and I'm wondering if I'm just being overly cautious or if she IS pregnant, whether or not this will do the trick.
