He is probably eating when you are not looking. They are very shy and will not eat if they know they are being watched. I have never seen mine eat, but I know she's been eating a lot because she pooped a lot. She just does it when I'm not looking...usually at night when everybody is asleep. Try checking for poop if you are worried. I leave a lot of crickets in tank for her, though, so she can get plenty of food. I also leave some food for the crickets like tropical fish flakes, chick mash, or crushed dog food. This way the crickets will stay nice and fat and they won't bother my tokay.
