Posted by: croc 2-3 at Wed Jun 20 18:03:55 2007 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by croc 2-3 ] I like looking at my turtles & I noticed that when my sliders & maps (all ages)sleep under water they tend to stick one rear leg out away from the body.My kinosternons however extend both rear legs (older ones) or none (babies). Just noticing but when on land all species keep all legs in while sleep but basking all legs extended. Just an observation in my collection.
