Hey, I just put this together a few days ago, but have changed things around ever so slightly. But this is the basic gist. I built the aquarium myself, so the base is 24" by 24" and 12" high. It's got about an inch to an inch and a half of gravel on the bottom. I've added a few more things for him to hide under, along with adding cardboard on the side and back of the aquarium so he doesn't feel so open and exposed. I've also extended the filter's out-flow to the opposite end of the tank to create more surface disturbance amd give it a better current.

You can't see him in the picture, but he's a little over 4 1/2" wide. Unfortunately, I think moving him caused him a little stress and his appetite hasn't been as strong as it usually is. He's also lower to the ground now and I think that freaks him out a little too.

Sorry for the fuzzy shot.
