Hi. I love yellow mud turtles, too. I just (along w/my friend) bought "Henrietta," our little yellow mud turtle in June 2007. She lives in our 10-gallon aquarium. I'm a little concerned about her, though. I clean her tank very regularly, and I feed her earthworms, mealworms, frozen (I thaw it a little first) shrimp, and petshop turtle food. Lately, she has not been eating well. Is there someone who might have some experience w/yellow mud turtles who could help me? I do not know if any vets in my area specialize in the care of reptiles, and I do not know if she has any parasites. I did get her from our pet store, so I do not think she would develop parasites. I am very perplexed, and quite concerned for her welfare....Can someone help me? Thanks so very much, tigerann or someone can email me at horsesof2006@yahoo.com
