I would probably ease up on the fish. I've found that if I just keep them in there, he'll eat them regardless. I've had the same "problem" with mine. I usually feed him every day or every other day, but it's only about five to ten at a time. that usually keeps him busy for about two or three days.
I've also found that the more obstacles and hiding places I put in his tank, the longer they'll last since it's not so easy for him to catch them.
Also keep in mind that you should switch it up a little; mine takes reptomin, mealworms (although they kind of scare him), raw chicken and beef, and, just recently "Can 'O' Shrimp." Kinda hokey, sure, and a little pricey, but it's a good substitute since he's not big enough for crawfish.
Mine has also slowed down a little, but when he was about 2", I thought he was seriously going to bankrupt me. But a little moderation goes a long way, and it will also help with his appetite for other things. Hope this helps.
