ok not to be mean but dog and cat foods are made for dogs and cats not lizards. They use meal and parts of aniamls rather then whole animal. So raw diets can be used for tegus but never as the bulk. really mice and rats are the best way to go, and now a days it couldn't be easier there are so many companies that prices are low and if ur not happy with one place its easy to find a new one. I personally like to use supper worms as a stable along with mice, but eh to each their own.



But really dog and cat foods are not health for reptiles. if mice and rats and worms aren't good for u u can use ground turkey but even this is frowned apone.
