They are very present on females and it can sometimes be hard to tell males from females if you dont really know the difference. Males have really damn big pores that looks like a waxy substance in on them and females have smaller but still good sized pores. If you can post a pic up on here or email me and I'll see if I can help. A 29gal would be better than a 30 long they like lots of room to climb and if you want a pair a 29 would be perfect. I breed mine in one. Also females are ALOT smaller than males. Males have huge heads and thick bodys where females are smaller.
