That's a great way to keep ants from the tank. Too bad I don't have a table to do that. I have ants coming in and out of my tank. Those are nice pictures of the eggs. I recently found an egg and i wasn't sure how old it was because I haven't been checking. I do know it was wasn't white like yours more like yellow, and wasn't fertilized because i checked under a light.
