Not eating greens

I have a Red-Foot that is around 3 months old (he/she still has an egg tooth). He seems to be growing well and I occasionally catch him munching on greens I left in his enclosure. Lately though he seems to be more sluggish than usual and he doesn't seem to eat his greens regularly. However, when I place a small slice of butternut squash several feet away from him, he scurries over and scarfs it down. I'd prefer for him to eat more of the greens and not the other stuff. Any ideas on how to accomplish this? I tried rubbing some of his favorite foods onto the greens and he bit into them and spat them out. His hot spot is around 85-86*F; maybe I should turn it up to 89/90? Thanks
