I bought my water dragon from my local PetCo store a few weeks ago. He has a great, attentive personallity and is easy to handle and feed.

Tonight (7/12) I noticed some rather strange behavior.
I had fed him large and medium sized crickets and some mealworms eariler in the day....

My dragon was sitting on his climbing branch, then started to throw up his left or right front leg. Sort of swinging it back and lifting it up, this is often accompined by a tail twitch.
He will then jerk his head up several times and repeat the process.
As he does this, he is puffed up (neck out, crest high) and breaths slowly.

I have never seen him do this before and was wondering if its just an odd quirk he has or if it's something more serious that I should worry about.

I did get some video of him doing this and should have it uploaded soon.

Thanks,
Anna
