that's a shame, they are very beautiful ringnecks! It sounds like they are rare...even more of a reason, if you ask me, to get them in the pet trade and get captive breeding programs going, before they vanish! Since you've kept many different ones, which do you think is the best overall? I like the ones with a bright red belly, are any of those sub species easy to keep? I've read in this forum that some are hard to get to eat because of specific diets that are hard to obtain; I'd prefer to at least start with a ringneck that has a simple and easy to get diet.
